CLINICAL HOUSEKEEPER
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
DAYS - RELIEF
Performs a variety of housekeeping duties in maintaining
assigned areas of the facility in an orderly and sanitary
condition as assigned by the Director. Assists in the
distribution of clean linens to all using departments.
Responsible for maintaining a sufficient supply of clean linens
available to meet hospital needs. *Weekends required.
FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST
HEALTHY FAMILIES
DAYS - 40 HRS/WK
Associates degree or diploma school program required, valid AZ
Driver License and valid auto insurance required.
Responsible for providing home based parenting information and
education, developmental assessments, parenting assessments,
plan development, emotional support, and preservation of the
medical home for at-risk families. Emphasis is placed on
strengthening the parent - child relationship by improving
parenting skills, reducing family stress, and meeting the
bio-psychosocial needs of infants, children, and their
parents. The FSS abides by the Policy and Procedures of
Healthy Families Arizona as well as the Verde Valley Medical
Center. Bilingual
preferred.
FLOOR CARE TECH
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
DAYS - 32 HRS/WK
Performs a variety of housekeeping duties in maintaining
assigned areas of the facility in an orderly and sanitary
condition. Operates equipment and utilizes supplies in general
cleaning tasks; floor buffing; carpet shampooing,
stripping/waxing and other assigned duties. May be required to
remove trash, linen, moving supplies, furniture and equipment in
and around facility departments. Performs Housekeeping duties as
needed. *Weekends required.
LAB ASSISTANT
LAB
VARIED - RELIEF
Collects specimens from
newborns, infants, children, adolescents, adults of all ages.
Cleans laboratory equipment. Performs clerical and accessioning
duties. High school or GED required. Minimum 3 months
experience preferred. *Weekends required.
MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST I
LAB
NIGHTS - 40 HRS/WK
DAYS/EVENINGS - 40 HRS/WK
Performs
laboratory tests on blood, urine, body fluids and other
specimens to provide data for use in diagnosis and treatment of
disease. Responsible for supervision of Laboratory Assistants.
Bachelor’s degree and one year training, education and licensing
in order to perform high complexity testing required. Licensure
required or eligible as CLS/MT with one of national registries
(ASCP, NCA). 1-3 years experience preferred.
PHARMACIST
PHARMACY
VARIED - 40 HRS/WK*
Provides consultative services to medical, nursing, and pharmacy
staff. Provides prescribed medications, drugs, and other
pharmaceuticals and compounds medications, according to
professional standards and practice. Prepares and maintains
records, reports, etc., required in the preparation, dispensing,
and storage of medications. Conducts Drug Utilization Reviews
and prepares Drug Review Criteria for medical staff review and
approval. Graduate from accredited school of Pharmacy required.
Current AZ Board of Pharmacy license required. Minimum 2 years
experience in hospital pharmacy with clinical experience
preferred. *Weekends and call required. 8 or 10 hour days.
CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECH
PHARMACY
VARIED - RELIEF*
Performs technical, clerical, and distributive pharmacy
functions under the direction of a licensed pharmacist. Fills
routine orders for unit doses, prepared IV additives and TPN's
and prepackaged pharmaceuticals. Enters information on patient
drug profiles, selects prescribed medication from shelf, enters
medication charges into the computer, restocks shelves and
automated dispensing cabinets, handles telephone inquiries.
Licensed with State Board of Pharmacy required. *Weekends
required.
PHYSICAL THERAPIST - INPATIENT
PHYSICAL THERAPIST
REHABILITATION SERVICES
DAYS - 40 HRS/WK*
Includes assessment, treatment, planning, implementing,
education, communication and demonstration of leadership to
address the needs of patients and their families as well as to
foster a positive working relationship among professionals and
ancillary staff. May be caring for infants, children,
adolescents and/or senior patients and must have the knowledge
and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of
these populations. Bachelors Degree, graduate of APTA approved
Physical Therapy program and AZ license required. * Weekends
required.
RAD TECH I
MEDICAL IMAGING
DAYS - 40 HRS/WK
Must be able to perform
medical imaging procedures/exams of average to complex
difficulty, including but not limited to assisting the
radiologist, administering contrast media, and processing of
images. It is preferred that he/she have gained knowledge needed
to perform procedures in at least two modalities. Associate
Degree required. Licensed by MRTBE of the Arizona Radiation
Regulatory Agency, ARRT and BLS certification required.
RAD TECH II – CT
MEDICAL IMAGING
VARIED - RELIEF* (PRN)
Must be able to perform
medical imaging procedures/exams of average to complex
difficulty, including but not limited to assisting the
radiologist, administering contrast media, and processing of
images. Minimum two years current CT experience. Must be
available to support the department on a standby basis, during
holidays and emergency call back as needed. Licensed by MRTBE
of the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency, ARRT and BLS
certification required. *M-F, Call required.
REGISTRATION REP I-INTRO
MEDICAL IMAGING
DAYS - 40 HRS/WK
Responsible for logging,
locating, retrieving and filing x-ray films. Develop exposed
x-ray films, as needed. Answer telephone, complete film logs,
incoming/outgoing films, and other general film library duties.
Assists the radiologist with film requests to ensure timely
dictation of exams and services as radiologist/ordering
physician liaison. Operates computer patient information
system, prepares requisitions, establishes files and maintains
files/records on an ongoing basis. Must be able to locate &
file film folders by color code as well as numerical
designation. Will be required to support the department during
holidays and emergencies as needed. Must be available for
rotation of shifts, as well as VVMC locations as needed and
assigned.
RESPIRATORY THERAPIST
RESPIRATORY THERAPY
VARIED - RELIEF
Under general supervision, the Respiratory Therapist provides,
directs and delivers care to patients in a variety of settings
within the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC)
professional practice guidelines, standards and the scope of
Respiratory Care. Collaborates with other members of the health
care team in planning and delivering patient care. Certified
(CRT) or Registered (RRT) by National Board of Respiratory Care
or equivalent experience required. |
