Support Groups
The Bereavement Support Group meets monthly at the NAH Hospice Office. They meet at 10:30 a.m. on the second Tuesday and at 1:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday. Call 928-639-6676 for more information. There is no charge for these meetings.
In Memory of ... Tree of Lights
The tree will be located in the Outpatient Lobby of VVMC during the month of December. It will serve as a bright, living memorial to our loved ones. Click here to download the donation form.
Golf Tournament
The annual Hospice Charity Golf Classic is held in September at the Oak Creek Country Club. It is a four man scramble with a twelve thirty shot gun start followed by a fabulous dinner catered by Mulligans on the Green and a silent auction. There are options to play individually or as a team or to contribute by being a Corporate Sponsor. Monies raised are to support the establishment of a Hospice House in the Verde Valley.
Hospice House
Generous donations from our families and you, our friends, have allowed for our dream of a hospice house in the Verde Valley to become a reality. We are nearing the end of our planning phase and are looking forward to breaking ground. An operating endowment is needed to assure the long term sustainability of this much needed service. Many forms of giving will be available in the future from sponsoring a guest bedroom, donating new in-kind equipment, the purchasing of garden bricks and plants. Keep watch as our home grows.
Northern Arizona Hospice Hope Thrift Store
Come and see our new hospice thrift store, located right next to our office on Candy Lane in Cottonwood. We look forward to selling gently used clothing, books and collectables. Volunteer opportunities are available at the thrift store.
Heartstrings
Our newsletter, Heartstrings, is written and distributed by us, the staff and volunteers you know here at Northern Arizona Hospice. The newsletter features current events and trends in hospice, coping strategies for adults and children experiencing grief and a condolence list of those we have served since our last newsletter.
