Our Services

Northern Arizona Hospice

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Anonymous

Hospice care serves patients with a terminal illness and who have chosen to shift the focus of care from cure to comfort. A terminal illness is one that if left to follow its natural course would lead to a life expectancy of 6 months or less. Northern Arizona Hospice care emphasizes the quality of remaining life and allows patients to remain at home, in familiar surroundings, while receiving expert healthcare. It focuses on the patient’s comfort while supporting their family in caring for the loved ones at home or in one of the many care placements in the greater Verde Valley region.

We never turn anyone away because of financial circumstances. We have been serving Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek, and the greater Verde Valley areas, as the only not-for-profit hospice organization, since 1984. Northern Arizona Hospice depends on your gifts to make this possible.
