Advanced Airway Class

Skill stations will include:

• Adult airway management to include evaluating difficult airway, defining crash airway and managing a failed airway, performed on Human Patient Simulator or Cadaver.
             1. Endotracheal Tube Introducer (the bougie)
             2. Combitube
             3. Surgical Cricothyotomy
             4. Needle Cricothyrotomy
             5. Confirmation standards will be emphasized
• Airway adjuncts for difficult and failed airway will be taught
• Pediatric Advanced Airway
• Needle Decompression 
• Intraosseous Devices
