  1. Question: What can I expect after I submit my application?
    Answer: Your application will be reviewed by the Human Resources Recruiting Team for the skills, qualifications and experience required for the position. You will be contacted by Human Resources after this review has been complete.
  2. Should I register and create a profile with your Web site?
    Answer: We always suggest registering when you complete your application. Creating a profile allows you to revisit your application and apply for new jobs as they become available. Visit this link to start your profile
  3. Can I send you my resume?
    Answer: Yes. Under Questionnaire just click on to the field and submit.
  4. What is BLS?
    Answer: Basic Life Support. We recognize the (AHA) American Heart Association professional rescuer certification and the card (ASHI) American Safety and Health Institute card.
  5. How often are new requisitions/positions opened on the career web site?
    Answer: New positions are posted weekly at Verde Valley Medical Center, and bi-weekly at Flagstaff Medical Center.
  6. How long will it take me to apply for an open position?
    Answer:
    The application process takes approximately 20-30 minutes
  7. Who has access to my data once I complete an application?
    Answer: The recruitment team in the Human Resources Department, who may share your application with the hiring manager/s for the particular unit of interest
  8. How do I know if Human Resources received my application?
    Answer: You will receive an automated response.
  9. Where can I see the requirements for a position?
    The requirements for a position, including certification and license requirements, are listed on the job description.
  10. What is the difference between relief, part-time and full-time?
    Relief shifts are zero-budgeted, non-benefitted positions.  Part time is up to 32 hours, and full-status is 32 hours or more.
  11. How am I able to learn about new positions that may come available?  Do I need to re-apply?
    Answer: If you register your profile,  you will automatically be able to create job search agents and an on-line application, as well as re-submit your application to future positions.
  12. May I apply for more than one position?
    Answer: Yes.  As you search jobs, add the jobs you are interested in to your Job Cart. You may then apply to these jobs at once.
  13. What if I complete a job search and there are no jobs available?  May I still submit my resume?

  14. What is the minimum age requirement for Northern Arizona Healthcare?

    Generally speaking, you must be at least 18 years of age.   Most positions require graduation from High School or a GED.
