Time Off
Paid Time Off (PTO) PTO is a bank of hours which can be used for holidays, vacations, personal business, family needs or personal illness. It allows employees flexibility in how they use paid time off. PTO can be carried over from year to year.
PTO is accrued as follows:
- Non-exempt employees: zero to four years of service receive 23 days per year (based on a 40-hour work week, employees budgeted 16 -48 hours will be prorated accordingly), with a maximum accrual of thirty-four days with 15 years of service.
- Exempt employees: zero to four years of service 4.31 hours per week or 28 days per year, after four years of service receive 5.235 hours per week or 34 days per year.
