Robert Montoya, Chair

Robert Montoya has served as chair of the NAH Board of Directors since October 2008. He has been a member of the NAH Board of Directors since 2003 and on the FMC Board of Directors since 1999. In addition to his roles as past chair of the FMC Board and current chair of the NAH board, he has served on the governance committee, finance committee and the physician recruitment committee. 

Bob’s expertise includes financial analysis, strategic planning, construction and development, and teambuilding. Additionally, Robert serves on the Arizona Department of Transportation Board of Directors.

Bob was born and raised in Flagstaff. He attended NAU and has a bachelor of science degree in business administration, and is a member of NAU's College of Business Hall of Fame. He has been involved in and owned local businesses for more than 35 years. He currently owns and is the broker for Sun Mountain Real Estate & Development. The company is involved in the development and construction of office buildings and apartments. He also represents buyers and sellers of commercial and residential properties.
