Richard Cranmer, C.P.A., A.T.A., A.T.P., was elected to the Northern Arizona Healthcare Board of Directors in 2012, and is a past chair.
Richard spent seven years working in public accounting – four years in Honolulu, Hawaii, with KPMG Peat Marwick and three years with Ernst & Young in Phoenix, Ariz., where he achieved the level of Audit Manager for the firm. He left Ernst & Young in 1979, returning to his hometown of Cottonwood, Ariz., where he founded the Verde Valley-based certified public accounting firm of Richard O. Cranmer, PC.
Richard received both his masters and bachelors degrees from Arizona State University. He resides in Cottonwood with his wife, Jeana.
Richard currently serves on the Board of Directors of Catholic Education Arizona and the Verde Valley Ambulance Company and is a former member of the Mingus Union High School Board of Trustees and the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District Board of Trustees, as well as serving on several other community service organization boards.
Richard was chosen as a community leader for the 56th Arizona Town Hall and is a past recipient of the public service award from both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
